Nailed it!

When I was doing OLD my instant dealbreakers (aside from smokers and guys with kids) were:
  • Shirtless photo
  • Poor spelling/grammar
  • Anything negative - what he didn't want, what he wasn't looking for, dislikes.
  • As timberline mentioned, stating in the profile that he lied about his age in the age field due to filters.
  • Any mention of sex
  • When it sounded like the guy was looking for a combination Rhodes scholar/bikini model

Smokers and religious fanatics are definitely a no-go. Also if they say "Looking for my soulmate" or "Looking for my prince charming" I don't bother reading any further. Kids are fine as long as they are out of the house on their own supporting themselves, preferably in another state.

What's wrong with that? Seems legit.

Unless of course it's internet speak for, spending all weekend in sweat pants and a t shirt.

For me, its:

1. Men with children
2. Men who've been married
3. Any non-Christian (this is an absolute dealbreaker for me)
4. I agree that any mention of sex is a no-go
5. Smokers
6. Drug users
7. Alcoholics
8. Men still living at home w/their parents
9. Any racist attitudes/thoughts
10.Anyone who approaches me w/ "Yo' shorty!"

It's a cliche as tired as they come. Plus, it's BS.

1) It's cliche as all get out. Cliches are a turn off.
2) It is almost always not true (please dont' chime in on how it is true for you)
3) No one cares, most of us wear different outfits for different occasions. Big whoop.

Talking about their relationship with Jesus or some other such crap. I don't date people that are superstitious or believe in the supernatural.
These are probably the best ones, from a phrasing perspective. I don't mind "seeking a partner in crime" so much...it's cliche, and it's not what I'm looking for, but for some reason, it doesn't bother me as much as the rest. Those others, though....stay away.
