As I get older(41y/o) the more I have a desire to get into a long term relationship and I think more about marriage.
Now that I have a certain level of maturity and appreciation for certain aspects of life, I feel even more than ever it is very important to share my life in a serious long term relationship.
Anyone feel as if a long term relationship is the right fit for them also?

I would suggest that if you are 41 and only now thinking about that life long commitment, you should carefully consider whether the lifestyle change will work for you. I married a man in his early 40s who had been playing the field for more than 20 years. He had no understanding of what it was to share a living space with someone - I mean truly share, not dictate what was his and where other people's stuff could go. He also wasn't ready to stop playing the game, and ultimately lost his family. When you find the right person, co-habit a space that is new to both of you - be prepared to compromise on almost everything.
I think that, as we age, a serious long term relationship becomes more attractive. This may be due to the fact that the older we get, the more vulnerable we are. Knowing that someone has your back, regardless, is a good thing.
I wouldn't know. I'm too far inland to see any real beaches.
