That's the part that confuses me. What's the point of swiping right on women who you don't find attractive and know that it's unlikely you will change your mind about them? How does that increase your odds or make things easier for you? It's not like you have to take time to "read" their profile when you can clearly see that they are unattractive to you, yet you swipe right anyway? It's just as easy to swipe left as it is to swipe right so I don't get it.
I told you: Time.
When I was doing this, I literally wasn't even looking at the phone. Some guys (like in the article) are just running bot scripts. It increases your odds because you're racking up bigger numbers of potentials. Of course, with the swipe limit now, it's not as adventegeus.

If you get Tinder Plus, it's unlimited swipes, right?

Bot scripts? Not looking at the phone? Ok...I'm just going to stop trying to rationalize things and accept that I just can't relate.

It's simple. Think of the lottery (or a raffle). The more tickets you buy, the more likely you are to win, but either way, the odds were miniscule. Now say the tickets were free (like right swipes). You're going to find a way to rack off as many as you can. It's not rocket science.
The guy in the article swiped ~205,000 women and went on ~150 dates. That's a 0.00073% swipe-to-date ratio. I've never gone on one. There's no point in being selective with numbers like that... especially if you don't "have fun" playing Tinder.
Well, I paid for two months apparently just to be right swiped by bot scripts and men who didn't even find me remotely attractive. Good to know!
Women create this scenario by not right swiping men. If I got even a few matches a day, I wouldn't have mass swiped. I would have been busy chatting.
Also, I get the feeling that an inordinate amount of female profiles on Tinder are fake, so we basically have to swipe through hundreds of them to get any real women in the pool.

All I can say is that I personally did swipe right on lots of men. I definitely didn't swipe right on everyone, but it wouldn't make any sense not to swipe right on anyone.

You may be one of a dozen real women on Tinder, lol. I don't get why you have such a hard time accepting, if not understanding, that the dynamics are very different for men than for women. Tinder didn't cause this. Swiping right didn't cause this. It has been the case since time began. On all OLD sites the ratio of men to women is very lopsided. Add to this that, generally speaking, men are far more likely to be the ones to initiate contact and to pursue. Being selective and swiping a few may be the best strategy for you and women but that doesn't change the fact that being indiscriminate and swiping everyone is the best strategy for men, in terms of getting a return match.
