I never implied that she owes me a chance lol. I just find it surprising that she has been single for god knows how long, and since we always appear to hit it off - why I haven't heard anything back. Not even a simple "you're a nice guy but" blow-off. BTW our apt. complex has a 2 cat limit.
4 or 5 is too many cats unless you live on a farm or something. Be glad she ignored your request. If things had worked out between you they might have ended up being your cats too!

It sucks to be ignored, because if you have the kind of conversational relationship where you speak when you see each other and you have exchanged phone numbers, presumably you would use it.
I had a "friend" like that who would flirt his @ss off in person and even GAVE ME his phone number, unsolicited. When I actually texted him, he didn't respond. I backed way off because I don't like flaky people.
You may not have thought she OWED you a chance, but the language you used here definitely reeks of "sour grapes." She may be happy the way she is and just jokes about her ovaries because she wishes they didn't exist, not because she wants you to rescue her from their control.
Sometimes there is a REASON why people are alone, even if they complain. She could have had a total anxiety attack at the thought of actually going on a date, or 1M other reasons you wouldn't even think of.

She could. Or she could not be looking at her phone at all. Or she could reply later on. Not everyone replies to stuff instantly.

When you look around and see 9 out of 10 people with phones in their hands, though, it's understandable why he'd get anxiety after not hearing ANYTHING.
Of course, this one sounds like she's that "one in a million."
