I have nothing but respect for the 1st responders, I really do, but I just couldn't deal with having one as a spouse. I couldn't imagine that fear of them going to work and maybe not coming home. I know we all have that fear just getting in ours and driving about town, but it's not the same thing.
I feel awful just saying that out loud because obviously these people need and have the right to have spouses and families in their lives.
That pretty much applies to everybody, with all the mass shooting all over the place.
Oh whoa, I didn't even think about offensive lingering odors until now. I have a sensitive stomach, I couldn't handle my man coming home smelling like rotten meat or dead fish or something else gross like that.
A hard day's sweat I can handle, in fact that's pretty sexy, but anything that can't be washed off at the end of the day is going to be an issue for me. I like a man to smell like himself.
Poor Police officers... the dating pool must be small.
Don’t kid yourself. Cops are chick magnets. Cops have power and chicks dig powerful men. They may have high divorce rates due to the job, but there is no shortage of women who would date a cop.
Other than most that have been listed, I wouldn’t want to marry a celebrity like an actor or rock star. There are too many outside distractions from your relationship.
Dating one, on the other hand could be fun for awhile.
