No, I think we're people and should be treated with dignity.
There's nothing undignified about a man or any adult watching porn. Men are sexual creatures. Looking is not an issue for secure people. Your idea of dignity is to grovel at your feet. There's nothing dignified about that.
I wish men could think of us as people. I'm disturbed they only think of us naked. I thought they outgrew that in high school.
I'm glad I'm older. I don't have to worry about being thought of like that by strangers.
With everything pointing south, I'm sure they don't look. I love it when a man lets me know he thinks I'm attractive. And fyi men NEVER outgrow lusting after a woman unless they've the life sucked out of them by prudish holier-than-thous.
I'm not a man, but I think men picture a woman naked only the first time they see her. After that they picture her naked only if they like what they see in their imagination. So if they look at an old, unattractive female, they will probably not want to undress her much in their mind or any other place.
Finding me attractive when I'm in a romantic situation is something, entirely, different. There is a time and a place for everything and the work place isn't the place to be, mentally, undressing coworkers. I hope that behavior isn't the norm. I'd hate to think men think that little of women but given the oppression of women, I'm afraid it may be right.
Seriously? If I took this at face value, then define for me exactly when it's ok to have a fleeting thought about a member of the opposite sex (or same sex depending here) you find attractive?
I'm at work now, so I need to switch off who, and what I find attractive? Come on now.
How is having a fleeting thought equate to being demeaning, oppressive or sleazy?

Just wow.
When I see a photo of Mark Harmon, there is no way I'm pushing those of thoughts of him nekkid out of my head - I don't care where I am.
Are celebrities off limits? I doubt it. And they're no different.
Oh look the semi-monthly porn thread. While I agree if there is a problem then it needs to be discussed and dealt with immmediately. Lying to your spouse is NEVER a good thing, and there is no defense for that. Given the many opinions on this subject there seems to be no real right answer. For every person that says there is no real problem here there is someone else who would look to deamonize the very same behavior. Agree or disagree BOTH sides have valid points which make this a very difficult topic to debate without knowing the full story, however with what facts that were given I think its a little unfair to suggest that the OP divorce her husband without even beginning to understand his reasons for engaging in the behavior in the first place.

So, I'm reading this thread while having coffee with my husband. I ask him, do men always picture women naked when they first meet them? First he says, why do you read something outloud from the internet that makes you sound dumb? lol He's saying, "I've been handing out with guys all my life and I never heard any guy say that, ever. Ask your guy friends (lists a few names), who are perverts anyway, and they would still tell you no. It's stupid." He then went on a humorous rant, which probably won't translate as funny here, so I won't bother. But, he is funny as all hell "no, I picture myself naked lol".
I'm still of the mind that men come in all mental shapes and sizes. This is due to my husband, and my friends. OTOH, I bet we could divide up attitudes and world views according to culture and class.
