Somebody should put a litte weight on the Jews. They are the ones who wrote that 2000 year old collection of fairy tales which now they don't even believe themselves.
True, but the Christians certainly ran with it....
...It seems to me, as if we need to go back to the days when religion was more prominent in
the classroom, than guns, drugs and teenage pregnancies.
Riight, as long as it is YOUR religion (i.e. Christianity)in the classroom, eh?Somehow I doubt you'd be so hunky-dory about having religion in the classroom if it were Pagan, Hindu, Muslim or any other non-Christian belief that was being forced on our children.
Quote:
Never forget that by throwing God out of the classroom, Godliness has been scrapped too!
I didn't know one could throw the creator of the universe out of anywhere, much less a classroom. What has been "thrown out" are the useless and unnecessary prayers, plagiarized holy book and bronze age dogmas of a particular over-zealous religion that arrogantly believes it owns the rights to the mind of God and human morality.
What you call "godliness" amounts to Christian self-righteousness and snobbery. There's nothing Godly or moral about Christianity, which is likely why those guns, drugs and teenage pregnancies are more prevalent in so-called "Godly" conservative Christian communities.

It'd be even nicer if they'd run off of a cliff with it.
