Well, If you claim to be a Christian and respect what the bible says, then there is where you would be basing your claim that there exists something fiendish beyond life called 'hell'. But then, what actually happens to the spirit when a person dies? Psalm 146:4 says: "His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts do perish." When a person dies, his impersonal spirit does not go on existing in another realm as a spirit creature. It "returns to the true God who gave it." (Ecclesiastes 12:7) Also refer to this information.

I reject the idea of hell just as I reject everything else about religion.

It's all about power and control of others, scaring people with a scary place is manipulative.

Why do you say that? Did you think we were moved by your fairy tales?

You only have to visit such Christian strongholds as AiG or CRI to see that 'lying for Jesus' is held in high regard at such places.

what makes me say that? There is 'enough' proof for christianity. I understand there are enough questions, but there are enough evidence to show it potentially could be true. In the end, we must make a decision where we feel the evidence points...but there is evidence on both sides (in my evaluation).

Saying that it "potentially could be true" isn't nearly good enough. Besides, I don't agree with that.

There is no real evidence or proof for Christianity. None at all. You are being dishonest with yourself if you think there is.
