Maybe Troutdude's God/Creator is still learning the ropes, and he/it is yet to come to grips with how to 'create' appropriate and comfortable passages for eating, breathing and the like.
I think we will add a 1/4" to 1/2" of brain. But even an 1/8" will make a huge difference. I think it can fit in the case. They are going to figure out how to coax needed proteins out of dna. Two or three more big break throughs like crispr cas9 will do it I think.
maybe borg (from star trek) like things. Living mixed with mechanical.
I think we are at the limits of computer robots that are similar size to us because of heat. The net could wake up, that would address the heat issue from electrons being flushed through I guess. Heat is a real issue when making things "live" smart.
Also, keep in mind, when I say "we make it", I really mean the universe makes it. But I don't mean a god thing at all. Evolution just used more complex proteins to 'live" and we are just the most complex protein to date. You know, as far as we can tell.

Seriously, you can't stop farting several times a day, and you dream about being God and have had done things differently?
You think Jesus didn't fart when in a human body?

I'm wiling to help there. My consultation fee is veryreasonable, compared to how much He's swindled us out of.
If it isn't mentioned in the Bible it didn't happen.
That's covered by John 21.25. And Luke/Acts 1.6 is probably the source of the Floating Story ""In those days, they sathed unto him: Lord; we know what it is, we know who dunnit, but for God's sake, tell us where it is."

I'm willing to pay up and all that but...are you sure that he won't by "Divine Fiat" declare the consultation "Null and Void"?
So long as he pays up, he can then declare whatever he likes. The world works as it does, even if the Word of God says different.
But still with opposable digits (perhaps six limbs in total).
Seriously, our cats lounge on our bed, glaring at us with half-closed eyes as if we were such lower life forms.
