there is ONE God. (Heavenly Father) who is completely seperate from Jesus Christ (our Savior) which is sepreate from the Holy Ghost. *Trinity* or *God-Head*
God is our creator.
Jesus is our Savior
The Holy Ghost is our constant companion. (kinda like a conscience, gives us those "hmm i dont feel right about this" feeling and such)
if you want to look at it from a different view (the ones that say Jesus is God) then we are ALL Gods.
Jesus was the son Of God, as we are all sons and daughters of God.. right?
Jesus is seperate. He had a body.
the Holy Ghost is just that, a feeling, a spirit, of the good God has.

Funny, I have that feeling about the whole god thing in general.
If any of you could get past the title of this thread and read the OP in it's entirety, you'd see the questions there are so many different religions and churches and they don't seem to accept each other and even compete or badmouth each other. why is this so? why is there so much intolerance of other religions?
Inadvertently, you all do answer these questions by your insistence that YOUR god and YOUR belief is the only truth. You can't have acceptance or even tolerance as long as your belief compels this view and this constant exclamation of it.

Exactly.
There are in infinite number of gods - as many as the collective human race's imagination can come up with. Each is as valid as all the others.

The premise of religion is belief.
To "believe" in something you must feel it is true and right. Thus others who happen to believe something different are false and wrong.
What you are thus seeing within this and other related threads is a logical manifestation for any religious discussion in the context of tolerance.

HAHA, my sentiments exactly. I knew without a doubt, that as soon as I read the OP, there were going to be Christians telling him the only God is the Christian one and/or Jesus. Maybe I should go into the psychic business.
Anyway, in response to the OP, there is a religion of Persian origin called Ba'hai.(sp?) From my understanding, it is an acceptance religion of all faiths. I don't know much about it, except that seems to be the general principle of it all.
I believe that tolerance is very possible, but I don't define "tolerance" as meaning "agreement". We can attempt to redefine "disagreement" as much as we like, but it will never mean "unity".
It's not about religion it's about having faith in Jesus Christ and beliving his word's and continuing to repent for sins's all these other gods and religion that hate's one another is all a distraction of the devil to lead more souls to hell
