Geological Dating

Or this comment from that smart guy standin' over there:

"...the natural response from a young-Earth perspective is to claim that radiometric dating is inaccurate or untrustworthy. Unfortunately, while the young-Earthers are long on criticism, they are short on support.

It's easy to assert that radiometric methods don't work, but it's quite another thing to prove it. This the young-Earth creationist regularly fails to do."

A Radiometric Dating Resource List

Yowzah yowzahhh...

Quite enough to knock YE on the head. Of course Geological dating and the methods such as radiometric dating pushed the dates back even further. Millions of years.

What this means in terms of the topic is that the geological effects and remains we see are due to millions of years of geological movement and not to a year of flood, as the apologists for the Biblical flood argue.

Cool Stulti sunt semper facile seduci *

viditur per mathematicus.

Math, through diligent application, will justify..) no global fludd, no single pair of a mere 3500 total list of "kinds" of species, yada yada yada... could possibly re-create an entirely safe and reproductively possible global ecology, esp. from a landing place on terra horrificulus montanus, @ the permanently glaciated 13k FASL, with no vegetation even with no fludd event!!

Also realizing that any vegetation below that all-ice level would of needs be dead from 18 months of semi-saline water inundation.

What a funny yuk-up! But... OK, OK... keep it up, all thou believers. Your extreme devotion is notable and noted! And hilarious!

Hurry! Let's do it before they catch on!

Eusebius had some great theories on it. He placed the ark in a valley that would have filled up gently and protected it from storm conditions, have Noah invent freeze drying, and said that he took about hundreds of cuttings from plants to ensure vegetation survived.

Default A drizzle of pH modifier here, a tad of fertilizer there, and VOILA! Food for millions!

Ah yes. I forgot about brer Eusebius! Wonder where he retreated to, after having been so horribly mauled by logic and reason?

Thanks for the memories, Lucid!

Noah the published geneticist / horticulturalist / scientist, huh? How could I have been so dumb?

I love the way all you pseudo-scientists love to throw around other peoples work as if it's fact without doing your own research on the issue and believing it because it is what you want to believe...Just like the sheeple that take as gospel truth those theologians that speak to what they want to hear as truth and not doing their own objective study...I see no difference between the two types...
