How do you know? Were you there when he told us? Or was it some guy who said god told him? And were you there to witness it? How reliable were the witnesses? Is the result reproducible.
Moderator cut: orphaned quote
I have read the Book. I still do read the book every day.

BTW, we know how those chemicals came to be - nucleosynthesis has been understood for decades.
OK. Make me a dog. Or a kitten.
I'll be waiting.

Vizz, you are just making yourself look foolish in demanding that we prove natural forces could over time bring life about by producing the finished article ourselves in no time at all and out of nothing.
I might as well ask that you prove Christianity true by nailing yourself to the door till you are dead and then coming back for a public fish dinner and let everybody handle your war -wounds.
No...we actually have written accounts of eye-witnesses that saw Jesus rise from the dead.
That's pretty much all you got isn't it? Insults and an old book that does your thinking for you.
lol...really? You took that as an insult? Have you read ANY of the comments toward me?
I think I've made a pretty good point. You guys think you have it all figured out...but you really have NO EVIDENCE that life comes from a bunch of chemicals. If you think it's that simple....then do it.

We know what you consider "evidence" - a dusty old book written by Bronze Agers that says a magic being insta-poofed the universe.
You will no doubt say that we haven't succeeded in turning a dog into a cat but if we could over fifty years of breeding turn a dog into something that looked so different that we'd have to find a new species name for it, wouldn't you say that it is still a dog that looks different?
I think what he will no doubt say is he wants you to make a dog from a few sacks of chemicals. Which is not how evolution works. It is an illogical argument.
Give me a few sacks of chemicals and a few billion years of interactions under the same evolving conditions that existed in our geologic history and I could make a dog or something with analogous complexity at least.

Even your own theologians dispute this claim. Maybe you should provide your evidence to them before trying to claim it to atheists.
