LauraC, thank you so much for that information. I just tried it and found it really simple to use. I always imagine ahead of time that I will not be smart enough to be able to use something like that, but in this case it was so easy I would have figured it out even without your kind instructions.

We have the paper delivered daily. It's nice to get up in the morning, fix a hot cup of coffee and sit in the recliner and read the local and national news at our leisure. We can pick and choose the stories we're interested in and then do the crossword puzzle afterwards.

I still get our daily newspaper. I love the feel of it, the smell of it. Just don't like reading the news online exclusively. I still like real books too. Go figure.

DH and I still receive our local large city newspaper every day - rain, snow, or ice. DH reads it, I don't. I honestly wonder how the carrier makes a living.

The biggest problem of reading newspapers on-line is that the on-line version omits many of the ads for special events in the community.

I get 1 weekly paper every day and IBD.
delivered to my door.

I hate routinely reading digital, scroll, scroll, scroll, click click
every couple of paragraphs
going thru 5 screens, where it's one page in print.

Oh I want to keep an article, rip it out
not print to "my" printer, using "my" paper, using "my" ink

I can scan 2 pages of print and read what I want
not scroll thru 10 screens, like a typewriter, back and forth
(opps, "Internet Explorer has stopped responding, must recover web page")

when done, throw on recycle pile and out

(and I use to be in IT)
