Don't fall down or get pneumonia, These two seem to be the start of the end for so many.

My intention is to eat plenty of meat, fried foods and chocolate; and to drink plenty of beer. And to die young. You seers and sages can keep your ripe old age.

I always get a chuckle out of those >100 yr old guys who, when asked their secret to longevity, talk about their daily glass of whiskey (or some other alcohol) and smoking.

Although, have you noticed that some of the meanest people live the longest? I had a great aunt who lived to 102. She was the last survivor of 7 siblings. She had an unhappy life, and spent years in a miserable marriage. She was tough, stubborn, and could be bitingly mean and unpleasant, maybe because her life was so unhappy for so many years.

Get the tests your doctor orders. If something is found that needs treatment, get the treatment.

I appreciate your kind sentiment. But I do not want or expect anyone to feel sorry for me. We all have challenges in life.

From what I've read, overall, genetics account for maybe 25 % with the rest lifestyle choices.

Yes, falls lead to hospitalization, which can lead to hazards of immobility (many). And, colds in very old people can lead to pneumonia quickly, not like colds in younger people. I've personally seen it.
