yes - I used to order Mom's Meals for my sibling that had a heart condition.

She didn't like all of them and would still go to the drive through for her hot wings and tacos. Not good - but what can you do. She passed away two months ago.

If they're for him and "he wants to eat them," I would let him eat them...

What is it on C-D with everyone trying to control what someone else eats?

looks like they send them to him due to his health?

My "roommate" had a heart attack a few weeks ago. I make sure he eats right when he is here. Only proteins are fish and chicken - no more beef. And lots of veggies and snacks that are heart healthy.

What he does when he is out and about, I cannot control. And if he told me not to cater to his dietary needs - I would stop.

Yes, if they're sent to him for his health, he should probably eat them (however unpalatable his wife finds them). Especially if he wants to eat them.

Sweetie, let's clear something up here right now. They were sent to ME (not my husband)only because it is a free perk of my Medicare Advantage plan, NOT doctor's orders or anything. NO ONE cares if I eat this crap or not. This stuff isn't fit for a dog and we threw them all out tonight. And in the future it is none of your business what I or anyone else does or does not want to eat. He did not want those dinners, and actually got kind of ill after eating one.

Yes - they were about to start sending those Medicare meals to my sibling, but by that time she had to be placed in an ALF and a month later passed away.

I ordered the Mom's Meals for her to get her used to what she would be experiencing.

Sorry to hear that. I am sure these meals are inexpensive and help to some degree, depending.

Sounds like you were devoted to her, again, so sorry for your loss.

Thank you. I knew she was not eating right, so I tried to get her to change her ways. It was too late.
