Do you mean the Colonels? The Bats are the Reds' current AAA team; Pawtucket is playing there the next three days.
yes, the Colonels, had Bats in my belfry. They were the Red Sox Triple A team before moving to Pawtucket. With new ownership in Pawtucket they almost moved to Worcester in the mid 70's before Mondor bought them.

They didn't "almost move to Worcester" in the 1970s. Phil Anez threatened to move to Jersey City after the 1976 season, but he went bankrupt and the league took over the team. Then Marv Adelson was awarded the franchise in the offseason, but when he announced his plans to move the team to Worcester the league revoked the franchise. Then the team really did move - the league transferred the existing franchise (and its $2 million worth of debt) to somewhere in Canada, then created a whole new debt-free franchise to award to Ben Mondor.
FWIW, Mondor himself threatened to move to Worcester at least twice to get the state to pay for stadium upgrades.
probably, during the summer they tend to draw 10,000 on Friday and Saturday nights. Minor league baseball is all about weekends, good weather and promotions.
