esmcblurm3 The new owners performed marvelously in restoring and remodeling Ocean House. I think it is the top sea side hotel in all of New England. Your photos capture it wonderfully.
Thanks for the compliment. And yes, Ocean House is certainly a fantastic, charming place to spend a night or two.
Here are a few more fromt around providence for you all to enjoy!
I know that no one has written here since 2008, but I want you all to know how beautiful R.I is. I have thousands of pictures of R.I. It is my home from my heart. I try to visit as often as possible. I had to leave R.I when I was only 12 and it is still my home. The beauty of the country makes me want to absorb it into my brain, to treasure it for always. Maybe, you only notice what you have until it is taken from you.
Does anyone know what has happened to the dancing policeman directing traffic? Thanks,
Not sure. He's retired from the force but he's doing holiday appearances from time to time. No idea if he's still doing that. The intersection he's one is Downtown, one street over from city hall.
My Dad was also a police officer , at the height of the dancing policeman's career. Dad used to laugh, and got the biggest kick out of seeing him, on the local news. Good memories. Thank you for posting it , as part of our "quirky" little State ......I just searched for the name, of the dancing policeman, and it is Tony Lepore.
