Yep. Agadir, Morocco also has great weather. 68/47 in January and 79/66 in August. Too bad it's Morocco.

Agadir, Morocco Travel Weather Averages (Weatherbase).

It's nice to fantasize about living in San Jose or somewhere closer to the coast. The weather really IS better here in both Summer & Winter--(SJ is a noticeably warmer & sunnier in winter). But the cost of housing here is positively BRUTAL, and that has a major effect on your day to day life every bit as much as the weather (if not more so). At some point, the premium you pay for good weather is just too high.

Good point,

Summer weather:

Phoenix and Austin: Absolute worst

Fresno: Pretty Bad but on par or slightly worse (or slightly better) than the humid midwest, east and south depending on what type of heat you tolerant.

Sacramento: Better overall than 90% of the country. At it's worse on par with 90% of the Country. Uncomfortable weather rarely lasts long.

San Jose: Near perfect, any quibbles would be that it's too cool in the evenings, nights and mornings. Any high heat rarely lasts long. Is it worth the COL --- Sacramento is a great alternative.

Maj,

Friend's house warming party in SF, and I love the City.

LOL, I am a California loyalist, first and foremost.

Sacramento 2nd, San Francisco and LA 3rd, San Diego 4th, Tahoe 5th.

San Jose too cool at night? Sac better weather than 90% of nation? Fresno worst than 90% of nation? I wonder where that magical weather line is that has some of the best weather on one side and the worst on the other.

Kids: stay in school or else you could end up like this.

Strike 1, associating with pretentious asses from SF.
Strike 2, calling SF "the City" while living in Sacramento.

You're on thin ice here. You better spend a lot of time/money at the arena to come back into my good graces.

Apparently people who actually live in Sacramento didn't get the memo since every weekend the grid looks like one big party with 1000's of people from all over the region descend to the grid.
