I usually see at least a few things in the paper every day that have been discussed earlier on C-D. I think quite a few people there (and elsewhere) are using us as sources and also gauges for what the average San Antonian has on their mind..

I would think the newspaper is getting the info about restaurant openings from the restaurant owners - they want to let everyone know that they are open! I believe that the food pages writers are just as interested in new openings as we are!

They do have their menu on their website.

I'm fairly certain that is true. I just took what Bowie posted and added my two cents to it even though it wasn't really on topic..

and that picture of the pizza with three eggs on it just looked AWFUL.. luckily I wasn't eating breakfast at the time

Oh man - I didn't even see the pizza with eggs! That is really odd! I've seen burgers & enchiladas with eggs, but pizza? I don't think so!

I was at that shopping center today and saw that BJ's is now open.

Too bad we stopped for lunch before we went out there today, or I would have tried it.

Not right at the moment but you can figure after 10-ish for opening and nine-ish for closing during the week with longer evening hours on Fri-Sat. Will stop by and check for sure though...
