Excellent place. When I go I usually have the Chicken Pad Thai (?). If you get the to-go version you can probably eat on it for 2-3 days. Prices are moderate. (Actually they're over by the old KMart)

It is called a billion places to eat and no one supports the small restaraunts.. thats why they are closing... cant keep operating if no one goes to em.. but I can understand.. no one has the cash to go out like we used to back in the day.

Heck.. thats why all of the banks are folding.. the bad loans.. are killing all of us!

While I understand your original point, SATX, I think the money still flows around here when it comes to food. Case-in-point: Do a quick search for "restaurant" on CD and you'll see a plethora of threads come back. At the time of this posting, there are threads on IHOP, Carl's Jr., etc. that have excited posts throughout. A drive around the area will confirm the fact that people in SA like to eat out--A LOT.

Not a jab; just an observation.

Yes, I tried it about a month ago. IMO, the food was good but not spectacular. I expected it to be more than good, considering the prices. Service was very good and the wine list was lengthy.

Mine may be a minority opinion, as there was a wait for a table the whole time we were there.

Yes, Fogo is awesome! It's expensive but a wonderland of meat. However, as odd as it sounds, they are also known for their salad bar. It is huge. I guess they wanted to appeal to the veggies as well. They just have to get past the huge side of beef cooking in the front window as you walk in
