That is shocking!! It’s been there FOREVER. They also closed the one at the corner of Wurzbach & 10.

Is that the one that used to be next to the Border's? If so, then I'm surprised they lasted this long after Border's closed.

I don’t think that it was “next door” to the Borders. I think that the Borders is now an REI store? Are you thinking of the one that was next to the old defunct Target and Barnes & Noble at the corner of DeZavala & 10? It is a furniture store now.

Borders had its own coffee shop kind of like how Barnes and noble has it’s Starbucks now. The one that is in question now is by what is now Ulta snd used to be an American Eagle.

That's the one I was thinking of. Now it's REI.

I just called the store. I was told that the last day will be Jan 18!! The closest one will be the one at Vance Jackson & Huebner. Sigh. That Starbucks has been there since at least the mid-90s.

I think Starbucks is on the way to eliminating most stores (if not all) stores without a drive through. The only non drive through store I think would survive is the Quarry one.

If there was a rental agreement with a new tenant, the center would announce it ASAP, if the tenant wanted it known. When there is no announcement, it either means no tenant has been signed or the new tenant isn't ready to make an announcement.

It's one of the only original stores from when Huebner Oaks left. Bed Bath and Beynd, Old Navy, Ross, Claire's, Yankee Candle (is that still there?), Victoria's Secret, Chico's and Anne Taylor (is that still there?) are the only ones left. At least the last time i was there they were there.
