BudB how many books have you written about San Antonio? What inspired you to write books?

I'd like to put my memories in print of attending Catholic School in the Sixties. The website would be called www.sistermaryruler.com.

Unfortunately I am not in SA right now, but I left my heart in SA. One day we plan to return for good.

My dream has been to open up a bookstore in SA. A used bookstore where every book would be priced at a Dollar or less. I have access to over 30,000 books and more every month. I think a dollar bookstore with other economical amenities would be a hit in SA.

Come down to the San Antonio Library downtown at 600 Soledad, go up to the 6th floor in the Texana/Genealogy Department and ask for it.

We have two copies you can look at.

Hours: Tues-Thurs 12-8
Wed, Fri, Sat 9-5
Sunday 11-5

We could have a Nix Hospital reunion!

Our slogan can be... "We Got Nixed!"

Great News! I will go to the Sears & Roebuck and make a right on Kenmore Drive! Thats how I remember getting there. Dad bought many a refrigerator & combination washer & spinner there.

I will definitely make a trip soon to the library to read the book!

I hope to spend the day at the SA library.

Back in 1967, our class at St. Mary's Grade School attended the Grand Opening of the new San Antonio Library on South St. Marys street and the riverwalk.

I don't know what I was thinking, but the department is closed on Sunday. The library is open from 11-5 but you will not have access to the book on Sundays nor Mondays.

Anyone remember Super Slide back by Old San Francisco Steakhouse? Anyone remember the bowling alley that was next door to the Time Warner building?
