El Bucanero- I had to go back and it was still amazing for the price. Shrimp Vera Cruz and ceviche were delicious, but they gave me the wrong entree. Oh well, I still enjoyed it and will go back.

Luke- I had the venison shoulder special and it was truly amazing. They cut the richness with vinegar and winter veg and it was a winner. One of the best venison dishes I have had. Beers are over-priced, but that is my only gripe.

Naga Thai, Dallas, right next to American Airlines Center. In a hurry before the Stars game Saturday night......they had a Model Search contest or meeting or something going on and the cameras flashed every 13-17 seconds, causing me to feel extremely sick. Horrible experience. Food was OK but we won't be going back. Nice presentation on the food but it was just extremely "meh".

When you sit for so long by the hostess stand to be even acknowledged that you actually feel unwelcome...well, it's not gonna matter how good it tastes.

We're not going back.

54th street grill. I got a cheesesteak, my mom and oldest dear son had ribs, dh had a steak. Everyone was really pleased except dh who compared his food to Chili's. That was not a compliment, lol.

Everything was hot and our server was very friendly and attentive.

Tried Romo's Cafe again.... after reading a review in the Express News that sounded suspiciously like my comments on Yelp. When two different people hand you the same article and say "it sounds like you wrote this" you go Hmm..

Anyway, no free chips in sight. Guess those are a thing of the past. 5 other diners - busiest I've seen the place.

Some of it still needed a touch of salt (a complaint everyone has about this place) but everything was excellent. Looks like the help has been completely replaced - another welcome change.

Went to Buffalo wings and rings, very good was surprised. Friendly service and they had 59cent wings tonight. The wings were a pretty good size and good, will be going back.

Two Step on 1604 is fabulous!!! They just opened not long ago and the Urbanspoon ratings were pretty good so we tried it. The food and service were both wonderful. We've gone back a second time already and the worst part about the place is deciding what to order. The menu isn't huge but everything we've tried so far is delish. LOVED LOVED LOVED the fried pickles, the BBQ and the pork chops. They have a different twist to the potatoe salad and beans along with the sauces for the BBQ dishes that were a surprise but very good. The only thing I didn't like was what they did with my wedge salad. I am a huge blue cheese lover and there was blue cheese on it but they also added a vinegarette dressing that I did not care for. We will be back for more but I'll ask them to hold the vinegarette next time.
