What about Texas would you change if you could? I love all the responses on this site so I just had to ask.

I really don't think there is anything I would change here. Don't like living in snow so thats not a big deal to me. Weather is great far as I am concerned and if ya don't like the weather in SA somewhere in Texas there is some weather for ya! People are nice,no state income tax. Good place for me and my family to be.

I think I would bring the heat and humidity down, just a little. I would love summers at no higher than mid 80's. The winters are comparable with where I live, now.

the weather!! I hate air conditioned air!! although i'm glad to have it. I miss sleeping with my windows open and feeling the ocean breeze...(from San Diego.) I would also change the freeway system......it's not layed out well...super dark at night and people drive with absolutely no rhythm ...it would also be nice if there were some mountains!!

West Texas has them. Now they are not Pikes Peak but there are mountains in Texas. Check out the McDonalad Observatory. Texas has one of the most diverse landscapes of any state in this country. If you want more hills then try the Hill Country. There are also some hilly areas in East Texas. The Piney Woods of East Texas. Just pick a climate you want to live in and I am sure everyone here can help steer you towards the area in Texas that will suit you.

I'll wager Good Hair isn't leaving the guv'nor's mansion come November...Not that I care for him, but the other candidates are turning out to be first rate jokers!

What would I change? I'd put my burb a little closer to the coast, say within a 100 yards? That would be grand!

There are lots of good places to camp in Texas. Do you want the mountains cause Marfa is a great place to go for that. Always cooler there! Goose ISland at the beach near Rockport, Enchanted Rock in the hill country Lake O the Pines in East Texas and plenty of places in between!
