I'd love to have a .50 BMG chambered rifle. A wee bit pricey, though. Maybe some day.
The model made by Armalite is fairly inexpensive (AR-50). That is the one I was going to get before somebody talked me out of it (well, actually it was the .338 Lapua AR-30 that somebody talked me out of in favor of a Remington 700 in .300 Wing Mag with a 5R barrel), though I also was considering the AR-50.
Unfortunately, they raised the price on the AR-50. It used to be 'almost' the same price as the AR-30 (in .300 Win Mag or .338 Lapua) a few years ago, but for whatever reason, they jacked the price of the .50 up another $1,300.
One of the salesmen at a local gun shop owns (I think, a Barrett) .50 BMG. I asked him how it is shooting one of those monsters. He told me that with the muzzle brake, the recoil isn't that bad... but, the concussion is crazy. The first time he shot his, he tells me it actually knocked the lenses out of his eyeglasses.

Yup, the recoil is a bit more than a 12-gauge shooting slugs. Enthusiastic, but manageable.
The deflected muzzle blast from the brake is rough. Once at the range, a fellow was shooting a bolt-action .50 BMG. He was courteously announcing to all around when he was about to touch one off, so we could take appropriate measures.
Once he forgot. I was two benches away. The blast took my baseball cap right off my head and sent it sailing another three benches down the line...
