Anti American referee at the World Cup (players, FIFA, team)

We wuz robbed!!! Unfortunately, it was yet another bad referee call. It's akin to the winning ("unseen" handball) goal scored by France against Ireland which assured France a spot in the WC. This is why there should be some rule allowing refs to refer to recorded replays during the second half of WC matches.

But hey, THE USA proved a whole heck of a lot with this game which they rightfully won. We won that freekin game and the whole world knows it! For the USA to make it to the WC with a group of guys hardly known within our own borders, and tie against England, and beat Slovenia is simply outstanding!!!

One last thing, I was following the game from the FIFA website while at work. After Slovenia scored it's second goal, many people were quick to dismiss the USA. Most of the comments were worthy of being ignored. But of course, there was that one comment which just seared itself in my brain. Some guy posted..."bye-bye yankee, time to go home." Couldn't let that one get by. My one and only response..."Hey buddy, this is a USA team. Quitting is not an option. We fight 'til the end."

And fight we did!!!

It was a bad call, that's it... I don't buy into other garbage! They guy sucked, he made a horrible call, it was a goal. At this point, it doesn't even matter if the US can beat Algeria which will NOT be easy... WIN AND YOU ARE IN BABY!!

that's right, it was horrendous beyond belief but they must focus on beating Algeria! It is in their hands! Unless of course we have the same ref

The grit they showed in the second half...they need to play hard and aggressive for the entire 90 minutes.

Isn't there always a ref at the WC that is crooked or plain dumb?

Personally I am ashamed we are tied with Slovenia in anything. I don't care how good or bad they are.
