Croatia is out. A very tight, tactical game. While they have some great players, their sky-high ego was banking a little too much on an unexpected victory over an already qualified spanish side. It seemed seemed like all of a sudden they could walk on water, they got quite a reality check there.
I didn't get this feeling from Croatia at all. Great opportunities sullied by the crossbar and post. Easily could have gone either way.

It could have gone either way indeed, there were so hardly any opportunities during the whole time. Both teams could have make it through, neither deserved to be eliminated. However before the game croatians players said they were favorites, and that they were going to dominate Portugal easily and make it through the next round. That didn't happen tho, no side really ever dominated the other.
Very appealing matches today with Spain v Italy & Iceland v England. Too bad I'm going into work early and will likely miss both. I'm hoping that Iceland will continue their run and advance in the bracket.
