Automotive service center National Tire and Battery is opening a store at 3719 Clemson Boulevard, Anderson, South Carolina 29621-1316. It is adjacent to Tractor Supply Company #440. The building was initially Brendle's, and the divided space was recently a Salvation Army thrift store.

Bids for the construction of National Tire and Battery are due Friday, 17 August.

Harbor Freight is under construction in Anderson, on N Main St and E North Ave intersection next to Liberty Tax (3035 N Main St)! It is expected to open in May-June.

They have fenced off the large cement lot next to the 85 south bound on ramp and 81 and have had surveyors and other workers in there on and off. Any idea what might be going on in there?

I'd assume it was a truck stop as it has a large truck scale.

Home Goods of Anderson to open in early 2021!


It will be located in the former Staples on Clemson Blvd at Midtowne Place.

Formal address is 120 Fritz Drive.

American Freight Furniture and Mattress will be soon moving into the former Fred's in the Watson Village Shopping Center! (122 E Shockley Ferry Rd)

Also, Goodwill is planning on moving into the former Fred's in Pelzer. After these stores open, the only Freds still vacant in Anderson County will be the Iva and Honea Path locations.

Bryant's Pharmacy and Supplies has divested its pharmacy business to Walgreen's and will transition to a medical supply business, BPAS Rehab.
