Baseball is gone as of the 2012 Olympics and will have to "re-apply" for full-competition status if it has any hope of re-entering by 2016. Or ever for that matter.

How about duck duck goose? They have baton twirling as it is. Stop the madnesss! The winner of the English equestrian jumping competition is a Canadian who has been hooked on drugs for 15 years! Let's keep athletic competitions for the athletes who sweat and build muscle and test their own endurance physicaly and mentally without too many props and knick-knacks like bikes, batons, horses, cars and what not. Geez.

I agree, I reckon that the MLB stars should play for their countries, sure those teams might dominate but it should would be great to watch.

Pogo sticking. I know it's not technically a sport yet, but it could be. Just think of the various events:
1. Distance - 5k
2. Speed - 50m
3. Stair climbing
4. Freestyle - think tricks
5. Battle pogo stick
6. Pogo stick dodgeball

I think both union and league should be introduced in the sevens format. Enough countries take part in both.

The problem is that lacrosse is split. Box lacrosse has some footing in central Europe while field lacrosse has small presence in Australia.

I don't think league sevens should be added, its rarely played and the annual NRL sevens draw little interest, rugby sevens is surely a must for 2016 though.
Agree with the lacrosse statement, played more widley than some know.
