Welcome aboard Donna! Everyone is welcome. I live just North of Branson a few miles. Moved here from the SF Bay Area about 9 months ago. Been coming out here since the early 80's when we lived in Eureka MO. Came down an played on the lake as often as we could.
Next meet is for dinner at Keeter Center on the 16th of Feb. More to follow on this thread.

Feb. OTFCC..details
The February OTFCC get-together will be at Keeter Center which is in Hollister (Point Look-Out) at the College of the Ozarks.
We will need to make reservations as it is the weekend following Valentines day and they recommend it.
We agreed on 5:00 so once we have a headcount I'll make the reservations accordingly.
The menu is varied...seafood, steak, pasta, chicken, trout, etc. and lots of stuff in between. The menu ranges from $13 (Pot Roast) to $27 (Surf and Turf). The average dinner is in the $16-$18 range (per person). Dinners include a veggie and startch of your choice.
So if you'll let me know (either PM or via this thread) by the 12th of Feb. if your coming I'll make reservations.
If you want to know anything else about the menu, they have a nice website with the menu's for both dinner and lunch.
ummmmm....getting hungry!

Whaaaaaaaat????????? Pleeeeeeze, tell us it ain't so, LJ!!!!!!!
Well, I just hope it's a good reason....like....you've won a trip to Hollywood on American Idol, or you're joining the cast of The Apprentice, or you've just won the Lottery and you're taking a trip around the world. Other than that.....you'll need a doctor's note. Sorry, that's the rule!!!
And if that didn't persuade you, just know that we'll miss you something terrible!!! It's never the same without you. And since you won't be there, I promise to take my camera to capture those Kodak moments, ok?
Sad & Bummed,
Boof

Thanks for the scoop, MrsC. Barring any unforeseen circumstances or inclement weather, you can count the Mr & Me in. It's going to be fun.
And thank you for all the hard work in lining it all up and checkin' out the menu. You Rock!!!!!
Looking forward to Keeter,
Boof

Date Change for Feb...input?
After talking to Keeter about reservations etc. it was clear that they preferred reservations ONLY because it was the weekend following Valentines day. I guess a lot of people go out on that weekend rather than on the date.
SO...to that end is anyone interested in pushing this dinner out a week to the 23rd? Any date is ok with Mr C and I, but I think we've had a couple of people indicate that the weekend of the 16th is not good in general.
Any comments?
16th or 23rd?
