Default relocation information please.

hi, we live in arkansas but me, my husband, and my elderly mother are trying to relocate closer to st louis for health reasons. right now im looking in festus or crystal city or bonne terre area. we need disability apartments in a good area that is not too big.have any of you guys got any suggestions?

Most things out that way tend to be single family houses or mobile homes that people can't sell, but check out Craigslist. Great source for finding rentals.

How rural do you want to be? the closer to St. Louis you get the more options there'll be available.

Also, how much can you afford to spend?

we're looking to rent right now and senior/disabilitie is best for us as far as apartments goes. im looking in festus or bonne terre.

The problem is there are very few apartments in those two areas -- have you had luck finding any?

There's a large subdivison outside of Bonne Terre called Terre du Lac where a lot of seniors live but it's pretty much all single family homes or villas for sale, not rent.

havent had much luck yet but we are taking it very slowly. we own a farm with 2 houses right now but we want to kinda 'test' the waters before we sell:}

Bonne Terre does have a few housing options for anyone disabled, and a Senior Center, but am unaware of any specific apartment complexes. There is one by the city park for seniors though that is supposed to be nice, and it's a very nice and quiet part of town also. Nearby towns are very much like Bonne Terre and also provide options. I'd stay away from Desoto though. Festus/Crystal City area should have some options as it's a larger town, and is closer to St. Louis, but I'm not too familiar with the place. To look for apartments in the BT area, I'd look in the online classified of the Daily Journal newspaper or call the various complexes listed in the yellow pages.
