The one thing our house up there MUST have is good heat / insulation! The insulation here is one thing that's horrible. We found newspaper, old blankets / clothing, etc in the walls when we had the wiring re-done. I told ya it's an old house! LOL
And for those thinking of re-doing their insulation with old blankets and clothing..............it just don't work.
