Hey Thomm,
Get hold of kvia.com they are the El Paso ABC T.V. station. I get news updates several times a day, and Weather reports daily, as well as severe weather alerts, as they are issued by the NWS. Brie

pull up salt flat tx and the zip is 79847, that is the zip for most of us. The weather is not that bad compared to where you are. We have a few bad days, but mostly sunny and windy, once you get used to the wind you will like it I think. You can pull up kvia, kdbc, ktsm, those are mmost popular news station for this area. Looking forward to meeting you.

Bob

If you are going to be here for Memorial Day, stop on by, most of the locals will be here enjoying our annual BBQ/Cowboy shooting competition, (NON SASS, regular clothes, whatever guns you can afford). The New York Strips hit the grill at noon-thirty. We eat for two hours, and then shoot for three. Brie

Thanks for the kind invitation, Brie! Beefsteak and shootin'- sounds like heaven for Bill. As for me (Allison), I'll sign up to applaud the shooters while I go back for seconds or thirds on dessert!

Best wishes,
Bill & Allison

Default Early morning salt flats weather repot

GOOOOD MORNING everyone!! It is 06:30, I went outside to put out the dog, and the winds were out of the east, southeast at zero to three, not a cloud in the sky, and 38 degrees. We are supposed to see 72 degrees today.
This weather report brought to you by the fine folks at Pancho Barnes Aerodrome. Brie

72 sounds great. I woke up to 4 degrees and only looking for a high of 9! I'm not even going to bring up the wind chill.

Good Afternoon Everyone... Has anyone had a water well dug in this area? Wondering what the depth might be. MommaD77 and myself are looking forward to returning out there soon and hoping to meet up with you.
Thank you,
Allen
