Typical response from a Dallasite. Lets horror out Ft. Worth when we need er...Yeehaw!!!

Oh & BTW, Houston has its main Med Center in the inner loop, but there's also large branches of hospitals all over town. Just look at Hermann Memorial on I-10 for instance, its a monster...literally. The Woodlands even has two very large Houston branch hospital up there in the Piney Woods.

Community hospitals.

Dallas, Tarrant, Collin counties are plastered with those too. We're not counting those.

You obviously don't know what you're talking about. There are large (and very good) hospitals throughout the region. A Memorial Hermann just put up a 500 foot administrative tower in Memorial City. Get a clue...

You know, kids, it's called the Texas Medical Center, not Sole Pride of Houston Medical Bonanza. People in Dallas can also be proud of it. Strange anyone feels a need to denigrate the hospitals there as being only valuable because they're "clumped" together.

I guess I'd rather come across in writing as arrogant than ignorant. So, thanks!

Precisely

Where in Dallas do you see these gleaming glass medical towers? Make that two in Houston around 500 ft. tall. Houston's medical facilities are first rate & people come from all over the world to seek treatment. You don't see that as much in Dallas.

My aunt ended up here for a bone marrow transplant as opposed to Houston. She lives in Tyler. It really depends on what kind of treatment your looking for. Houston has MD Anderson which is a world class cancer facility. Dallas has other things which it does well in the Medical field too.
