Foreign blacks don't commit nearly as much crime as native blacks do because they're not entangled in a gang and survival culture and mentality. It's not a politically correct thing to say though. NYC's black population is rather unique in that half of it is literally black immigrants. It's probably why the drop in crime and murder has been even more pronounced and dramatic than in other cities over the last 25 years.
Carribeans and & African nationalities makes up about 25% or less. The drop in crime is due to policing , community, and criminals changing their methods & probably less rivals to deal with. My opinion here.

It's a strange polarization.
It's the mentality and ignorance of the teenagers in the ghetto now. I lived in the hood a year ago and lived there as a child and teen. These 13-20 year olds are different, they just are. They really are not like we were when we were there age and we were bad, but these kids. They are like aliens, I don't know if it's the medication, or the media but they are off in the head.

Things have hit the boiling point after multiple generations of it breaking down, There has been a complete breakdown of the family unit I mean complete. Everyone has already been incarcerated, killed, moved far away, or is beefing with each other internally. No one trusts, likes, or loves anyone including themselves. There is no community. The gangs are all small splinter groups of wannabes with no organization and everyone is trying to be kingpin. Also transplants, millions of people are fleeing ghettos in large cities and there children bring that same mentality with them to places like Arizona, or Nebraska.
