You can also get yourself on the registry by mooning out of a car, or streaking during a football game. (Exposing yourself to minors is how they would list it.)

Now, sure these behaviors are STUPID, but are they something that should mark a person for life?

Public urination is unpleasant & against the law but I have never heard of people getting arrested for it unless they are drunk [public nuisance laws]. There aren't enough public restrooms, esp downtown.

Most men have had to take a leak outside one time or another [mostly along side the road in bushes]; the police aren't going to arrest anyone for that.

Sex offenders do alot more that pee in public, unfortunately [public exposure to attract women is one motive but what woman gets off on a man exposing himself?

Having been one who has relieved myself on a daily basis for many years now, I have to say, I can't imagine not being able to "hold it" for up to several hours if necessary. The exception being if you have drinking, in which case waiting does prove to be impossible. It's not unusual for me to get so involved in a project, that I will wait hours before the need is so great I have no choice. I'm often is such a rush that stopping at a bathroom is a real inconvenience, and I put it off as long as possible. Maybe that's just me.....

Written like someone unfamiliar with the law. Public urination is considered as sexual offense and anyone arrested for doing so must register as a sex offender. And the police arrest people on a regular basis for it.

No they changed the ordiance a couple years back, UIP is equivalent to either public disturbance $150 or littering in public $950 depending on where you are.
