I have been watching rental/sale properties and I'm surprised as the number of homes for sale in the same areas (bailey ranch/coffee creek). Is there a reason for this? I've been monitoring for our move next spring and I'm quite surprised at the amount of sales and rentals in these areas. There might be more but I'm not familiar with the area quite yet. Anyone any insight? TIA!

I'm very familiar with Bailey Ranch and Coffee Creek and both those areas are upper middle class neighborhoods with Coffee Creek being newer and a little more upscale and bigger homes. Those type of neighborhoods tend to have a more transient type of folks living there. You know folks who get transferred from time to time and ever folks who start there and them mover out to Dover Pond and some of the bigger homes out there. I remember a few years back there were a lot of folks moving into both those neighborhoods who got transferred up from Houston to work at Conoco/Phillips in B'ville. They didn't want to live in a town as small as B'ville.
