The show airs every week, but how long do they actually have between legs of the race? Is it one day off and one day on, or are they given four days or a week to recoup from the last leg? Sorry if this has been asked before.

in the past, when more details of their arrival and departure time were given-they had a 12 hour rest period. They only have so many days designated for the race so they don't have the luxury of too much down time.

This is how I understood it too. I also thought I read/heard somewhere that the race is a total of what - 3-4 weeks? Maybe I'm way off, but I seem to remeber seeing that. I guess if I can remember how many weeks it runs, I would have a better idea, LOL.
SO SO sad to see David and Conner go I really liked them and hoped to see them in the final 3. But I'm glad he's taking care of himself. And I'm glad to see Chuck/Wynona still there.
Since they didn't get eliminated because of David and Conner leaving, I assume there is no speed bump for them like in a non-elimination leg?
I wonder if they told them there was something on the leg it would have been impossible for the dad to do so that's why they chose to drop out now.
Why were the You tube couple so offended everyone was making fun of the people last week losing with the Express Pass in their pockets. I thought it was pretty funny and would have laughed at anyone that did that, no matter. It wasn't anything personal.
I'm guessing Chuck and Wynona were scored 7th in this leg and the father and son were last, so no speed bump is needed.
What a jerk that Chuck is. Every single leg he has to screw something up. I feel sorry for his wife. "Don't take the chickens." "Don't hold hands." Mama Mia! What utter uselessness!

I know...made me sad. I actually got teary eyed
Good race tonight. Good challenges. Enjoyed.
Am I the only one watching who thought it was dumb dumb dumb
Spoiler
to U-Turn Team Alabama? I mean they are so slow anyway
Am I the only one that was 100% repulsed by their choice of the Venue for their 'Entertainment" and more then disgusted by their little Communist Party Skit
Possibly i am one of the few in here that was around in 1975

Politics does NOT belong in AR.
oh-thanks for this reminder----quite frankly I was appalled at that
Shocked that TAR allowed it.

That was bizarre to put such blatant propaganda into a challenge. Weird.
I was with the guy making fun of last week's team being eliminated with an express pass. Not sure the others (team Alabama?)would have been so angry about it if they had actually seen the stupid response from John to Phil last week. One of the truly boneheaded moves of TAR history.
