Well, I am sorry to say I am missing last season BIG TIME. No one is really exciting me this year. (Plus I miss Shakira and Usher!) I do agree with the assessments of those who went home. I will add Holly to that list - I was CRINGING as she was "caterwauling" - ouch!
I really enjoyed Shelbie and Kat. Not sure I would always like Kat, but she nailed that Alanis song and LOVED her stage presence. Shelbie is just overall fantastic - wouldn't be surprised to see her win.
Watching Holly made me nervous. Listening to her made me cringe. Nic wasn't that great, but he was better than Holly. Cole was a very nice surprise. Everyone else was boring. I actually liked Ashley over Tessanne. And Adam, ENOUGH with the love of Grey!!! She is as bland as her name would suggest. I can't really think of anyone who I am excited to see through this competition. My favorites have already left or will probably be leaving soon (Will). I am thoroughly glad that Brianna is gone, though. Is it just me, or was there a big amount of suckiness last night? It seemed like everyone's singing debut, rather than just before the live shows.
I'm rather embaressed to say I sat thru 2 hours of this show tonight. My faves were Ray, Stephanie, Austin and Mathew and Caroline Jackie (16 yr old) was not good, she just got lucky that Anthony was worse.
I liked Will and Caroline last night. Yeah, it wasn't a good song for Austin, who I usually like.
As I said before, there is no one exciting me that much this time. Last season was just sooooo much better. Oh well, maybe it'll pick up.
