I called almost everything last night. I was suprised that Austin got the vote over Ray, but I figured that would be Blake's team. No surprise with Christina or Ceelo. I wasn't sure if Adam would pick Preston or Will, but I'm glad he picked Will.
For a moment there, when Adam said "this may be surprising" I had a second where I thought he was going to pick Grey. Probably from the flashbacks of when he picked his last horrible wedding singer (Loren Allred...she was a wedding singer, right?) over someone clearly much better (Nicole Nelson)

That was my first thought, too. Thank goodness it wasn't that big of a surprise he was talking about. I think maybe the surprise was because Adam had said so adamantly how important Preston's distinctive voice was.
I'm watching the first half online this morning because I had to watch Bob Newhart on Big Bang Theory. CeeLo's team song has to be the most yawn-inducing song in the history of the show, or perhaps even the world.
No big surprises. The only judge who even had to make a real choice was Adam, I thought the other eliminations were writing on the wall.

I agree.
Without hearing any more performances, and assuming two will go per week, this is how I assume the next couple of eliminations play out.
Week 2 (next week): Josh and Kat
Week 3: Austin and Tessanne
Week 4: Jonny and Ray
After that, it leaves Cole (Blake), Caroline (Ceelo), James (Adam), Will (Adam), Matthew (Christina) and Jacqui (Christina)
I can't decide who will leave after that. Maybe Matthew and Will, leaving one member from each team in the top 4. I think the win will be either Cole or James.
This, of course, is not including any potential song meltdowns in the coming weeks.

I think Christina has a chance to win this year with Jacqui, as long as she keeps the song choices good.
Song choices are sooooooooooooo important when an artist only has 90 seconds to make their case.
Personally, after hearing Jacquie absolutely crush I Put A Spell On You I'd like to hear her do Gershwin's Summertime, I think it would suit her style/range.

I still remember an American Idol contestant -- Fantasia -- absolutely killing with Summertime.
I'm happy about how things turned out and am very happy that Adam chose Will over Preston, even though I loved them both. Will, as others have said, is a dark horse and is super-talented.
Jackie's performance blew me away. That was really something from a 16-year-old. I'm sure Christina sees a lot of her younger self in her and will take special interest in mentoring her.
I love Caroline's voice, but Ceelo's team is by far the weakest, in my opinion.
Thanks for that! One of my favorite songs. I never watched Idol as I just don't like the idea of judges getting down on the contestants. This is the first season I'm watching The Voice and so far I'm enjoying it.
Jacquie's great rendition of I Put A Spell On You got me thinking she could pull off a Janis Joplin-esque version of Summertime but in her own personal style.
