rabbitsong, it's because he used to slobber and paw his partners, especially the younger ones. He's been able to restrain himself with his more recent partners but, given that he was all-hands with so many previous partners, it's hard to overcome that reputation.
Thanks TFW46. I must not have been watching during those years.
...did they do a sport center or just showed clips of a few?
They just showed clips and not even many of those. But it was enough to make me realize how much I missed it. It would be awesome to have those 3 as judges for one episode.

It was good to see Kristy Yamaguchi back. (Too tired to look up the correct spelling!) And I loved the number with all the NFL players. There were some missing.... Jason Taylor (who finished 2nd to Kristy) and Michael Sam.
I'm a big hockey fan, so I'd love some NHL players. Sean Avery wasn't on long enough. I tweeted and suggested that they do that, and they could start with Bret Hedican (Kristy's husband)! Not sure if he could dance, but he sure would make good eye candy! He played for my Carolina Hurricanes. Kristy is the reason I started watching DWTS. She was the "local girl" and the Canes were having watch parties. It was fun to see some of the wives in the audience while she was on. Another good one to get would be the recently retired Ray Whitney. His wife is a dancer/choreographer, and he's got a great personality. Alas, I'm probably just dreaming!
Finally.... can the producers just go ahead and make Sasha Farber a permanent pro?! I love watching him in the troupe, but he deserves a permanent spot.
This hockey player, he's married to who? Kristy who? It's not Kristy Yamaguchi, she is married to Clay Pell, the grandson of the late Rhode Island senator, Clay Pell.

You have your skaters confused.
Hedican - Yamaguchi
Pell - Michelle Kwan
And yes on having NHL players! But they would have to be recently retired since their season conflicts. And there are LOTS of hot hockey players!
Loved the anniversary show and agree it should have been longer.
Miss Dance Center.
Loved the NFL guys.
Maks.... Ahhhhh. Love.
Val in a Speedo! YES!!!!
Yes on Sasha. Time for Derek to go. Mark too.
I've watched from day one and have been to the show 3 times, so it was very enjoyable for me.

I agree there should be more NHL players but they really shot themselves in the foot starting with the douche Sean Avery. That guy was a stain on the league for a long time.
