More drama with snappy writing. We'll have to wait to see what happens when Eddie tells Katherine the truth about Delilah's baby. The restaurant. Andrew's involvement with both the restaurant and Delilah. Maggie and Gary and their health. And Rome's. And there's probably going to be something going on with Barbara's son, who was the kid who read Rome's manuscript.

There are a lot of different directions they can go in with Season 2.

I must have missed something! How did you figure that out? I still have no idea who Barbara is or how she fits into anything.

Barbara's name came up when they were going through Jon's things, but they couldn't figure out who she was and what her relationship to Jon was. It turns out that Barbara was married to Jon's best friend, Dave, who died on Flight 11. Jon was supposed to be on that flight and missed it, feeling guilt through the years. Barbara was pregnant at the time. Now she's with a man named Mitch.

I read about the connection this morning and thought I was the only one who missed it, Kayanne.

Here's the article I read which is pretty interesting.

I was shocked and surprised when I saw that Barbara's son was the same kid who read Romes manuscript. I did not see that coming at all and that's what I love about this show. It's always full of surprises. I can't wait to see where the writers are going with this show..

but I do have a question. When Maggie was talking to Gary she said something about how she wondered if Gary felt he had to 'save' her like Jon did with the group of them.
Then when Gary was at Jon's grave he said 'Jon, you would've liked her" (meaning Maggie).. so now I'm wondering. Is the use of Gary's past tense related to the fact that Jon is gone, or is Gary implying Maggie may be out of the picture soon?

Did you not watch last night's episode? Everything is explained in the episode.

I watched the episode and missed it. I guess some of us aren't that bright.

Or distracted during the episode...

I don't see how you could watch the episode and still not know who Barbara is and how she fits into everything. That was practically what the whole episode was about.

Ok sorry for the stupid questions.

I thought I was current but just realized I still have one episode to watch! (I would have sworn my Hulu watchlist said I was all caught up).
No wonder the last few posts about Barbara and her son didn't make any sense to me!

But yay! I get to watch another one! I thought I was done til next season.
