Adam and Kris sound so good together singing in unison...so sweet. Oh geesh...gotta gotta ff through the Steve martin bit....yikes!! lmao Poor Michael having to sing with her...
can't believe I'm still talking about this...lol..but...I just have to say this is the greatest group of kids I've seen on this show.....most of them will not be stars...but they were a great group!! So looking forward to the concert.
Well I hate to admit this, but you sort of have to give credit to Simon, Paula, Kara, and Randy. Kara was quite the "Sorry sweetie, you're not gonna make it" gal in the auditions. What would it take to get Paula to say that?
I liked her last night! That was great! LOL But, I'm not sure she added anything special and performances had to be cut in a singing competition.
I'd perfectly fine with Paula going and Kara staying. Wouldn't Paula be better off judging one of the dance shows? She's a choreographer before a singer, right?
Wow, if this "win" doesn't reveal in spades the mediocre and bland listening ear of American Idol fans! Am sure the dopey Gokey votes given to lil Kris made the difference, or else AI is truly "rigged". Geez. I never watch AI, as it has always been just a group of amateur performers trying to make it big. Then a friend asked me to look in on Adam Lambert. A rare and true talent if there ever was one in an "amateur". Thing is, he has consistently performed better than the best of professionals out there. And will of course go on to be very successful. Lil Kris...well, he may be Bland America's favorite for awhile, but really doesn't have the talent, fortitude or staying power needed to be anything more than a passing fancy and sympathy vote. He may make it okay in C&W, that's about it. Not that there aren't a few very good C&W talents, i.e. Alan Jackson. But in general, the voice quality and real talent doesn't need to be there for that genre. Anyone notice Simon Cowell's disgust and disappointment, what a sour face! Am sure he won't keep his mouth shut about it. Maybe a more fair way to "judge" talent is for the mediocre audience to only have a percentage in the voting and leave the true judging to those who have an ear for it. But then it wouldn't be America's "idol" would it?
So because Adam didn't float everyone's boat, they are mediocre and have a bland listening ear? Wow, kinda judgemental don't you think? Adam seems to be taking his loss alot better than some of his fans.
I will be passing through the room soon with a big bottle of prescription strength chill pills. Some of you will be encouraged to take a double dose along with a big gulp of "It's a TV show" tonic. Until then, please don't hurt yourselves.

That's what I've always wondered!! I dont watch DWTS but thats the show she should be on.
