It just keeps getting worse and worse, but like a lovestruck fool, I keep hoping it will go back to what it once was.

I don't get the popularity of this show. Not that I've ever seen even one episode. I'm assuming that the endless promos are clips of the best of this show, and being subjected to those is enough for me.

There's always the possibility that a new neighbor will move in and fall for…

Amy -- it would be nice to see her with a guy who actually fulfills her need for affection (and makes her go hooooo)
Penny -- and she can't help herself -- she's attracted to him. I foresee a drunken 1-night stand… and chaos for Leonard
Sheldon -- except it's a guy, and Sheldon's still clueless about the attention
Leonard -- nah, can't see that happening -- he's got a good thing going and he knows it!

Leonard moves in with Penny and Sheldon gets a new roommate played by Ted McGinley.

The show is down 10% this year, but the last few episodes have been down 20% to 25% from the year before. But it is still so far out ahead as the number #1 sitcom that it would have to completely collapse for Modern Family to catch.

Black-ish had made one of the best sitcom starts in recent years, but I don't see it getting the throne in the next three years. I think it was a bad idea to drag out Two and Half Men another 13 episodes.

YoY Demo Rank Title .... Network 18-49 demo Viewers (mil)
-09.79% 1 The Big Bang Theory CBS 4.56 16.35
-03.64% 2 Modern Family ABC 3.41 10.07
New.... 10 Black-ish ABC 2.58 7.93
+10.58% 18 Mom CBS 2.30 9.98
+30.49% 21 The Goldbergs ABC 2.19 7.14
-45.98% 24 Two and a Half Men (ending) CBS 2.05 8.74
-19.46% 25 2 Broke Girls CBS 2.05 7.75

It looks like after 10 years they will get another big contract to stay on TV.

I don't think they will ever surpass the top two, but they may pass Two and a Half Men
435 episodes Ozzie and Harriet
380 episodes My Three Sons
254 episodes Two and a Half Men

I still think Howard and Bernadette need to have a baby. Remember Howard talked about being the "stay at home dad" a while back when he and Bernadette were discussing marriage and kids.

Penny needs a rival for Leonard's affection ... I loved the interactions with Pria.

I could see an episode where Amy tells Sheldon he has to have coitus or they will break up.

As for Raj, why not have his dad move in with him.

Hmm. If you don't like much about the show, why are you watching? That's a philosophical question, BTW. I sometimes ask myself that about shows...not this one...yet. The show does need new ideas and better direction, I'll admit. I'd like to see the characters take more road trips or go on a dig together, something to shake things up. I don't think Howard and Bernadette are ready to become parents!
