I still don't get it. Crystal has an ear piercing, weird kind of pitch to her voice that I just cant stand. I would much rather listen to Siobhan in her upper register because at least you know its only for a note or two. Crystal sings the better part of her songs in that annoying register. I just do not get the hype.
Anyways, I think Tim should go home.., but I bet someone important will go instead.
I like little Aaron Kelly. He seems like such a sweet boy and he has a nice voice. I agree though, he just isn't ready yet. He still needs to grow some more.
Casey is good. I like him, but that song tonight just didn't cut it. I wish he'd pick songs he connects to more and that he could do more with vocally.
I Loved Crystal, as usual. Lee was also super good tonight. The song he picked is one of my favorites, and I loved hearing him sing it.
Mike and Shoban ... nothing good tonight.
Tim ... oddly enough, I thought he did a good job tonight.
Wonder who will go home tomorrow? I'm hoping it's Shoban.
Lee, Crystal, Mike: excellent, as usual.
Siobhan: great voice, but her weirdness is distracting.
Casey: I missed the first few minutes of the show so I can't comment on what he did. But the few seconds I heard at the end of the show were not good at all.
Tim: really, really average. He makes me think of Taylor Swift: he will sound good on record, but he will always end up being a mess live...

He can sing, no doubt about that, but he has zero personality, and is just plain boring!! He's no top 5 material.
I think I might have to stop posting in this thread. I can barely stand to watch the show anymore, I'm glad the rest of y'all are enjoying it, but it's boring me to tears.
Crystal and Lee were good. Aaron did pretty good last night but he is not ready for the big time yet.
Casey was a disappointment last night and so was Mike. Siobhan I just can't get into..she's just not that good IMO and Tim should go home now.
I thought it was really sweet that Crystal's Dad was in the audience watching her last night, considering she was "homesick" and almost walked out of idol. It must have really touched her deeply because she began to weep at the end of the song.
I just love her voice. She reminds me so much of Janis Joplin, with kind of a Bonnie Raitt / Melissa Etheridge - edge.
I'd love to hear her sing something of Patti LaBelle's. OMG, she's my absolute favorite female singer. Patti sings like no other person on this planet and can hit notes that make Shoban's high notes sound like baby squeals. And Patti doesn't have to scream to get to those notes, either.
