When I ate a plant based diet I felt great which was odd because my A1C went way up . If I could go vegan without screwing up my blood work I'd do it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately grains, legumes and a lot of fruits make my sugars rise too high . That severely limits what I can eat if eating a vegan diet
