flu189 and others, no disrespect intended. You must understand that I live in a town in the SE corner of the state, and I am getting a bit weary of all of the foolishness that goes on. Our taxpayer dollars are better spent on causes that improve the quality of life for everyone in the community, rather than causes that serve only to generate publicity for a certain vocal minority. And I can't stress enough the need for people to become familiar with the concept of "boundaries." IMHO.

No disrespect perceived! The post was valid and refreshing in that many like you are growing weary of the repititive banter and actions on issues which have limited or no bearing on the collective good and benefit for the state as a whole.

I think those people are mostly transplants, from the 60's and still stuck there. Longtime Vermonters are mostly a reserved seemingly almost standoffish bunch unless they know you.

I spent the latter 60's and early 70's in your area but I left.
