Oh, you're having a few days like what we just enthused about over here...and a frost, which I'm not expecting for another month

London forecast:

Thursday: 16/11, sunny spells
Friday: 17/9, sunny spells
Saturday: 16/9, overcast
Sunday: 19/14, overcast
Monday: 19/14, overcast
Tuesday: 16/7, sunny spells

Still no cold weather or proper rain.

Looks like everyone else is having warmth and sunshine while there's no end in sight to Christchurch's cold, cloudy weather. The last two days have had highs under 10 C / 50 F. Even Buxton is warmer!

Weather like this makes life not worth living. I could win first division in the lottery and I'd still feel miserable with this kind of weather. I want to see blue sky again. I want to feel the sun's rays on my skin. I want to be outside without feeling the constant sting of an icy cold wind.

And before anyone says anything, note that the "warm" (if you can call low 60s F warm) weather in the forecast below coincides with cloud and rain while the "fine" (meaning more than an hour of sunshine, it'll still probably be cloudy most of the day) coincides with cool temps and cold winds.

Brisbane beckons? Last week here went brilliantly till the end of Saturday, but Sunday to today has been very drab and damp. Wine-growing areas in the Wairarapa have "enjoyed" the same atypical conditions in those 5 days. It's another weakened westerly blocking situation.

Just to remind your other readers - this is not typical, and the month isn't over yet. October average for Ch'ch over the last 30 years is 204 hours, about 52% of the average, and last October had 245 hours.

BTW - several Canterbury (not just Ch'ch) forumers in the main NZ forum I follow are celebrating a rain top-up, to help avert serious rainfall deficiencies developing later. I warrant you'd get nil sympathy there.

Lol you made me laugh but you're getting towards trolling territory now! Just out of interest I looked up the figures for the coldest, wettest April in my lifetime and surprise surprise - your forecast looks tropical in comparison! :

Clima en BINGLEY NO.2 durante Abril de 1986 - datos climticos histricos Tu Tiempo

and to prove that was no fluke, here's another April I remember which had MOST days either raining or snowing and below 10C:
Clima en BINGLEY NO.2 durante Abril de 1998 - datos climticos histricos Tu Tiempo
