Scattered, building storms on the radar. Today could have some severe stuff.
Hottest temp of the year so far, but dry and breezy. Later this weekend and into early next week, record challenging heat could bring temps into the low 100s.
Very hot and humid. 95 F is the highest temp so far this year. Severe thunderstorm and Tornado warning are in effect until 7 PM as very strong thunderstorms are building up and a strong squall line is approaching the metro area from the SW. These storms have dropped 3-6" of rainfall in a short period of time to areas SW of town.
