Storm is mostly over south of MA aside from snow showers.. Watch the temps for icy roads.

Pine Plains, NY with 12". My cousin with 9"! All about an hour nw of me. I got less than 1. Ugh

This says it all for me. 6-12" of snow about 45 minutes away. If it wasnt Thanksgiving tomm Id be taking a ride.

Power has been going on and off all evening. Over 8 in/20 cm on the ground.

Appalachian Electric Power reported that they had over 22,000 customers without power. In Floyd more than 60% of the households, about 5,700 customers, lost power this afternoon and at this time more than 4,900 remain in the dark. I got lucky I guess with just a little bit of flickering in the mid-afternoon.

8:00pm: Light snow beginning to fall again in NYC as atmosphere cools. Light accumulation is possible.

Well I'm posted uo overnight in Staunton... Not much to see here tonight I'm gonna leave around 430 tomorrow to finish the drive to NJ, hopefully not dying on black ice. I think we only got like 6 inches in Morris anyway. Maybe two or three inches here In Staunton?
Think I'll see some more once I get into PA tom.

More than 730 U.S. flights canceled today, 4,300 delayed

New Jersey not looking good in spots with the heavy wet snow. Lots of power outages popping up.

Notable NH power outages in recent years:
437,000 Dec 08 Ice Storm;
315,000 Oct 11 snowstorm;
230,000 Feb 10 nor'easter;
165,000 Irene 2011

Currently 184,000 no power in NH. 63,000 in Western Maine.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Ouch.
